Financial Aid Resources

Where can you find information about financial aid resources?

Need-based aid is available through federal and state programs. These programs include Pell Grants, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, Perkins Loans, and Guaranteed Student (Stafford) Loans. Students should contact the Financial Aid Office at the college or university they are attending or planning to attend. All colleges and universities should have financial aid opportunities posted on their home page or the student services home page.

For those who don’t qualify for grants, the Hope Tax Credit and Lifelong Learning Tax Credit programs may be available. Visit the federal student aid web site at www.fafsa.ed.gov/studentaid.
